Amazing Grace Pilgrimage
Purpose / Aims
To put on a free entry, fund raising Amazing Grace Pilgrimage Walk Event from Milton Keynes to Olney, plus an associated supporting event featuring music and other entertainments.
Note:
According to your ability you can choose to walk three different distances:
- 11 miles
- 6 miles
- 4 miles
To promote awareness of the activities of John Newton regarding his Anti Slavery compaigning and the writing of the universally recognised Amazing Grace song.
To raise funds for locally based charities that assist disadvantaged people in the Milton Keynes area and the developing world.
To promote inclusion by helping and encouraging different communities in the Milton Keynes area and abroad to come together by meeting and working co-operatively.

Donations
One of the purposes on the Pilgrimage Walk and Event is to raise money for 4 local charities that help disadvantaged people.
